Juice Beauty-Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Solutions

I purchased Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Solutions kit from Sephora for $68 CDN.

The kit included the following:

  • 0.25 oz/ 7.4 mL STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Eye Treatment
  • 0.5 oz/ 14.7 mL STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
  • 0.5 oz/ 14.7 mL STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum

The products claim to:

Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with this set of formulations, containing a proprietary blend of fruit stem cells and vitamin C infused into an organic, resveratrol-rich grape seed base for powerful results.

I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a while, specifically the Green Apple Peel.  Ironically, that’s not what I walked away with (obviously).  At the time of purchase, I rationed that it would be more economical to get three items for approximately the same price as the mask.

I was excited to try this product.  I’m always interested in trying new things, and I always hold out hope that I will find something I just can’t live without.

First off, the moisturizer and serum smelled the same.  I liken it to lemon Pledge.  I was okay with it.  Some might not be.  The eye treatment was unscented.

Both the serum and moisturizer went on really well and absorbed quickly.  I had no skin sensitivity issues with either of these two items.  I did however, have sensitivity issues with the eye treatment.  After a couple of uses, the skin around the eyes became raw and sore.  I immediately stopped use, gave it a few days, and tried again.  This time, I applied less product.  I also did not massage it in with the applicator like I had previously.  I dispensed some onto my finger and lightly finger tapped the treatment around just the outside of my eyes, where the smile lines appear.  This seemed to have worked, because the re-introduction of the eye treatment no longer bothered me.

I finished the cream first, the serum second, but still have the eye treatment that I’m working my way through.  I applied the product nightly, and used it during the day on Saturday mornings only, usually after my Saturday face mask ritual.  For the remainder of the week, for day applications, I used up random brands that I have hanging around that I’m trying to finish.

The verdict after approximately 1.5 months of use?  Sadly, I can’t report that I’ve seen a miraculous difference.  To be honest, I look the same.  There wasn’t much of an improvement.  Nothing that requires a raving review.  A few of the online reviews I read had the same outcome.

That said, I still want to purchase the peel.  I’d also like to re-purchase this, most likely the full-sized products, and try again.  I didn’t get the results I was hoping for, but I’m not yet ready to give this one up.  I still kind of like it.

Is that weird?
