Jouviance~Ultime Elixir, Ultime Face and Neck Cream, and Ultime Eyes

I received a sample tube of Jouviance Ultime Eye (cream) in one of my beauty orders.  I really liked the cream.  It was nice and thick, and I felt like this might actually make a difference, as it left my undereye area really moisturized.

I ended up doing an online search to see what other products Jouviance (a Canadian company founded by dermatologist Dr. Guy Sylvestre) offered and zeroed in on the “mature skin 50 and over” line.  I took a gamble and bought the Magistrale Ultime Elxir, the Magistrale Ultime Face and Neck Cream, and the full-sized Magistrale Ultime Eyes.

30 ml of The Ultime Elixir retails for $66 CDN.  Ingredients include organic argan oil, macadamia nut oil, and organic sacha inchi oil.

50 ml of the Ultime face and neck cream retails for $97 CDN.  Ingredients include tripeptides, Bulgarian rose extract, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and shea butter.

15 ml of the Ultime Eyes retails for $55.  Ingredients include argan oil, avocado oil, and shea butter.

As you can see, this line is a bit pricey. For my first purchase, I took advantage of a points-redemption offer, so it cost me nothing. For my second and third purchases, I waited for a sale to roll around before buying.

As you can probably tell, I am a repeat customer.  I am now on my third bottle of the Elixir and my second jar of the face and neck cream, but still on the first tube of the eye cream (I am just starting to run out and will be re-buying soon).

JOUVIANCE1

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this trio.  The Elixir has a light scent and applies somewhat oily, but believe me when I tell you, this oil absorbs quite nicely and doesn’t feel oily at all after a few minutes. I really believe that using this before the face and neck cream is the ultimate combo.  The cream glides on nicely and absorbs just as well.  My face feels quite dewy and moisturized. It has quickly become my favourite.

As always, I like to read reviews before I buy anything.  I didn’t like what I was seeing on my drugstore’s website, but because I actually had the eye cream sample that I loved, I wasn’t too worried about trying the full line.

JOUVIANCE REVIEW 2

These two reviews are incredibly similar and highly suspect. What do you think?

Of note, their Instagram page states that Jouviance is “not tested on animals”, but I can’t find anything on the actual website.
